I have chosen not to succumb to the craziness of the Easter long weekend and polish my 21ft fiberglass boat instead. I will leave this weekend for the once a year boaties.

The boat has not had much love in the form of making it look pretty, and I was thinking of giving it a pretty deep cut and polish, then using a more gentle polish after that. Can anybody suggest any brands and where I can get it? I would think I would need a larger supply as there is a fair bit of fiberglass to cover.

Cheers in advance,

Lucky

See if you can track down one called "Flitz". It's brilliant. I brought back to life a 40 year old gel coat (that had last been polished in the mid-late 80's) and associated red inlays in my own boat - known to me for all of my 42 years, but only became mine around three years ago. Finished it off with some Nufinish and haven't needed to touch it in the the three years since.

He has updated the info over time so understand that the products he recommends are not those in the original version of the thread. So what's there now is current info.

Thanks guys, I had read Blackened''s brilliant post in the past, and I hadn't realised he had updated the post to products that we can all access. The guy is a legend for contributing to this forum!
