Hi
As the weather is a bit crappy and boat is stood for sometime I thought I would ask the question.What is the best way to have your outboard up fully or down. To ease the pressure in the cylinder damaging seals ect. Or is it best to have it on a support bracket.

kev ::)

Just have it vertical mate.
It's really not a big deal, having it tilted doesn't worry anything. The hyraulic seals aren't bothered by what little weight there is to hold up your leg.

My 40 Merc lives on a pontoon and spends its entire life tilted up half way. The 25 before it did it for years as well.
