For the past few years a mate of mine and I have been intending to take my boys prawning but never really got around to it for one reason or another. From past posts it seems that Logan River is the place to go. We are from just over the border but cant do it down here. Where is the best place to launch a 5m boat; either cabbage Tree Point or Jacobs well or is there any other spot?
Are the prawns on now and how long does the season last for? Does it matter which tide to go on? Does the water being released from Brisbane Dams get affected in the Logan?
Help appreciated in answering any of the above will be appreciated
