Agree with what the others have said. The 140 would be minimum for me on such a great hull that loves power.

Ditto to the 150 Merc. Agree with the others that the 140 would be too small. I have a mate that has one on a Signature 542F and he is always up it like a rat up a drainpipe. If you don't mind travelling slowly the 140 would be ok and cheap to run but my 565L has a 175hp EFI that cruises around 24-26knots with a fuel burn of about 1.2km per litre. Top speed in the vicinity of 83-85kmh.

Suzi 175 for mine.
You should get better performance from a single 140 than twin 70s. Unless they had counter rotating props, being on a standard monohull and therefore not far apart, as a general rule of thumb you would have a 10% power loss so effectively 126HP.

Although singles are much cheaper, faster and easier to maintain I recently had a very minor mechanical issue but in a very major place!
After watching your life flash before your eyes(slight over exaggeration) I think my next boat will be twins.
I guess it depends on where you fish and how you fish but don't think it will never happen to me just because you've got a new donk.

Mate has a similar boat ( bit bigger, 6m Yalta) with 4st 175 Suzi. Gets 1.75 km/l av.(awesome) Cruises at upto 30knts. I have a 18ft Yalta(bit smaller) with a 150hp EFI 2st, same cruise; 1.55 km/l av. Hope this helps, I'd be thinking same as the rest 175 would be better than 140.

I think you'll find it will be a very different and much better boat with a single, all be it a little less stable at rest maybe.
Check the compliance plate for max hp (either 150 or 175 from memory).
As others have said here already, these hulls do like power, and the more they have the better they get. Having said that, I know of another with a 140 Zuk and the owner is reasonably happy with it.
