Fished today off Tweed on the charter boat R U 4 Reel. Glamorous day, though a reasonable swell. Roderick and his deckie Leigh (Lee?) worked hard to produce the goods and our group was more than happy with the results! We got a million Mac Tuna on the troll at 9 mile as well as some babby Yellowfin, a little Wahoo and a solid Spaniard about 10 kg. Out on the 50s we got a nice bag of pearlies and a 5-6kg Kingie on a jig. Nothing of any note, but a lovely feed for all on board. There was next to no current at the 50s.
We had a great day and I can highly recommend R U 4 Reel if you are looking for a fish off the Tweed- very professional outfit.
