Has today's BF50 changed in any way since these changes noted in March 2008?

Does the BF50 have adjustable throttle and steering friction?

I have a extra trim/tilt button on side gunnell easy to trim motor while running, also put extra water separator filter near tank and put small hour meter tacho on tiller handle, its a sendac brand, its shows revs when motor is running and shows hours when engine stops has is own battery inbuild you just run the wire it comes with from the tiller handle under the cowl to wrap around one the the spark plug leads cheers Yamp

thats the same meter, not sure on the brand of the extra trim switch I installed it is just one on those small toggle switches which are spring loaded momentary on /off/momentary on with weatherproof boot,I have the wider gunnels so I just had to drill small hole to push switch though an then put locking nut the switch comes with and than the weatherproof boot, the electrical terminals are fairly protected but I also bogged some silicone on top of the terminals,as for the fuel filter it is one of those cartridge type ones you can change, with the clear bowl on the bottom you can drain water out of most boating shops would have them under the honda cowl their is another filter. cheers Yamp
