Went off Mooloolaba yesterday with the plan to get the lad( Bryce) on to is first spaniard. Worked out as planned for a change:-* . Few boats out. Hooked up trolling a Xrap magnum 15 blue colour on a braided outfit. All stoked went the fish hit the deck.

Fish measured 1.13 on the measure matt.

The entrance back in could have been a bit better- the dredge was 3/4 s way across- the pipe blocking acess to the inner wall- just leaving the remainder 1/4 toward the eastish wall to come in.

Cheers,

Lew

Quite impressive to see his little pins holding up a solid and sizable fish.

Well done dad - he will remember this day for the rest of his life.
