Hello all,
I have searched high and low in these forums with no luck, but when you go into reverse; is there a throttle limit? Like a preset from the factory to stop you going in reverse too fast you end up swamping your boat?
I relocated my controller to a new position on the c/console but never thought about testing the reverse function at the original location. With the 703 in the new location, I cannot seem to get the revs up in reverse? The boat can power off the trailer ok...last time I looked the revs never went past 1200rpm in reverse...is this normal? I also notice that the manual idle peaks at 1200rpm - which is no big deal (I don't see the need to flush the motor out on land at 1200 revs).
Just wondered if I had inadvertently altered the cable settings...:-?
