Just got back from a couple of days at 1770, fishing was very slow tried all of our normal spots which usually fish well and even some new ones which looked good, nothing was working. We fished from Sykes to Boult, out of 3 boats we only caught 1 red 16 pounds and 6 trout and a small assortment of parrot, comet cod, red throat, coral cod and moses. Used all types of bait they just didn't want to bite bought back a 1/4 of what we normally would catch, guess we will just have to go again soon.

Gday Scrubba, mate we were the same. We got up there at 5am Tuesday and came back in this morning and we did not do as well as normal. We still got some nice fish, some good size Spanish macs and good red throats but no trout or reds. We only got 1 undersize red. How good was the weather but, hot and glassy yesterday all day north of Lamont.

No good mate, with any luck the weather comes good next weekend so i can have a go here's hoping for south easters.

Same deal offshore Bundy, 5 degree patch, lady elliot area and Western Warregoes all shut down with two boats doing a whole day for 3 fish in one boat and under 10 fish in the other. Northerlies maybe or the moon....I was mowing the yard and doing other home duties so didn't wet a line these days off, back to work in the morning... Kev.

It was very hot and steamy, we didn't go for a troll for macks but probably should have there was bait and birds everywhere Tuesday morning.

I was at 1770 close to Musgrave Tuesday. Headed out 5.30am ish. No livies and bloody NE winds.

Hey Tickleish,

Yeah heading up on the weekend, weather permitting of course, at the moment it seems to be heading the right way except for the fact that they're looking N/NE again, oh well fingers crossed!
