Guys

As i'm looking at doing extended fishing trips in winter for the humble bream. I would like to install full storms cover.

Quotations are coming at $1500 to $2,000.

As i have made my own side and front clears, i was going to knock one up and see how i go. All goes bad it's to the trimmers for a pro job.

Tube thickness is what i'm after

1.2 mm or 3mm - ( they don't stock other sizes)x 25mm - so what do trimmers use

I will be bending the tubes - using my pipe bender or making a timber one using Youtube as a guide.

Cost i'm looking at is $120 for materials - sunbrella ( good stuff)

2. Side clears $50
3. Clips etc $30
4. Zips????

All up i'm looking at a total coast of $300 give or take plus a few hours work ( carton of beer for stuffups on the way)

These canopies usually only last 3-5 years.

3mm wall thickness is a must due to when u screw your fittings off it is stronger where you screw or rivet, otherwise if it is going to break it will break where the screw is..
