I'll guess about $250 to $300 for a full service based on what my 115s cost range.

Cheers

quotes for the old tower of power in the city were in the 1200 - 1500 range for a full service and end seals & side Plates .......... cost 700 in bowen when i was on holidays .... of course the small town dealer makes his living servicing motors not selling new ones. It pays to think outside the square when dealing with old motors.

I was quoted $450 here. Gotta love the mining tax that business owners charge up here. At that price I will be doing it myself

It pays to shop around, my mate lives in Hervey Bay and wanted his 40HP Honda serviced. He phoned the local dealer and got a price which he thought was a bit excessive so he phoned Bundaberg. Worked out that he could tow the boat to Bundaberg, get it serviced there and tow back home after a half day fishing there, and it still saved his a good few dollars than the local dealer.

That was him. The Evinrude guys in town look at me in utter amazement every time I say its not a etec and the other 2 only do what they sell. So choices are limited
