About 06.

My 60 four stroke with carby is fine for trolling. No probs.

Sounds great at full noise with four carbies open :-)

i have read that the carby models were actually more efficient. don't know how that could be but read it on here somewhere

thyis may sound bit silly, but i am not very mechnically minded. Wat is the best way to tell if its fuel injected bye looking at it. I currently have a carby 4 stroke 40 , so no wat that looks like ???

..Just look at the back of the motor... will have 'fuel Injected' across the back.

so i got the numbers of the engine today F60CET 1002492N after talking to a dealer they tell me its carby model after giving them the these digits. But looking on the net says 2005 are fuel injected. Now i am confused, can any one make any sence out the engine numbers iv got ??????????

Perhaps 2004/2005 was the transition perod from carby to EFI. The 100HP went to EFI in 2004. I think the best way to determine what it is is to have a look at the engine itself.

I have an '05 F60C which is efi. The carby model is designated F60A. '06 would be EFI
