Boston Whaler Montauk 17 centre console with Yamaha 30hp, Questions?

Hey folks haven't posted for a while. I'm looking for all sorts of feed back for a Whaler 17 Tri Hull. I've never had much too do with glass boats before. So I went out and bought one. My new addition looks just like this model. Has anyone been offshore in one....., on a good day that is....? How did she handle...? For River and bay use perfect. Just Questions like these.
Any help gratefully accepted!

IMO thats at least a 90hp in the picture... possibly bigger.

I would think 30hp to be underpowerd for normal boating.

Most of the ones I have seen for sale in the US sport 70-115hp motors. I would have thought a 30hp will struggle, especially if any weight in it. They aren't the lighest boat.
