Hi Everyone,

My wife and I are taking a cruise to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and will be in Port Vila for a day in the first week of Feb. Can anyone recommend a charter operator with a good reputation to head out for GT's, Wahoo etc?

Cheers

Nick

Get in contact with these blokes, my dad has been with them a few times now and they put him onto some good fish. Enjoy your cruise mate, im going on one myself in April with my wife and daughter. Just hope the skipper can drive better than the bloke in Italy.

cheers tim :)

Thanks for the advice, I'll get in touch with nautilus.

I've booked my better half a spa treatment for the day, she's a happy camper ;D

There's hoo and gts just outside the main harbour, and more on the fad. I used v-factor charters (34 deep v) who is an ex pat and a mad keen fisherman who worked hard to put us on fish, and got me hooked up to a decent blue so I think he's a bit of a legend.

He has a long boat and has landed an unbelievable amount of world records the last two years or so since he has been operating.

There are a lot of game charters. Russ works in with Herve Picade on Escapade a US Express. Cameron mentioned V-Factor and they are good too. I personally would go with one of the boats from the Crusoe stable if I didn't go sportfishing with Russ.

hey Nick that brings back a fond memory of a couple of days I gave myself for my 40th on Ymer when she was out of Port Vila....sounds like you've cracked the code also to make sure you park your wife in a decent resort first and all is sweet. The chef at Waterfront Bar and Grill prepared the YFT we brought back for dinner in the evening and the small blue was despatched to feed patients at the hospital....at least that was what I was supposed to believe as they loaded it in the back of the ute
cheers Rob
