The old boy and i Headed out to the 12 mile mid afternoon Friday sounded around for probably 2 hrs or so found a nice bit of reef about a mile off where we would normally fish there, very small patch, first drop busted off big time, 2nd drop landed a nice snapper, caught a few more reefies. Tide and wind pushed us off the spot and we knew straight away when i landed two nice flathead !!! :o . I think the big snapper like that bit of sand around actually. Anyway we managed a nice mixed bag with some good Grassy's and Maori Cod. We left about 7:30 pm its just so hard to leave when they are still biting.... :(

P.s If anyone is looking for a Furuno FCV-585 i have a brand new one for sale, i just found out im going overseas for work so the 620 will do when ill only be coming home very few times a year...
