I see the fisheries minister Craig Wallace has announced there will be no change to the mud crab rules. Of the 439 replies to the proposed change to allow the taking of female mud crabs (jenny's) in Queensland, 287 were against the changing of the rules. Good to see that they have heeded what the majority have said for a change. Full media statement on fishweb.
