Any ideas on what we can do as a collective to help out a local hero?
I remember seeing a thread not long after it happened here on ausfish and feel that some sort of recognition needs to be shown to this man's family.
Any ideas welcome.

I noticed on the news, that his family wanted to try and place a plaque on one of the pylons of the bridge in remembrance of his deed. Maybe a collection from the members?

Poor bugger that is terrible news - he was a hero for sure.

My sympathies to his family.

What a sad Christmas for them.
