have been a lurker on here for a few years and read a lot of good threads and i tempted me to upgrade my gear but work kept me from getting out but now I have decided that i should upgrade my 11 foot tinny with 9.9 hp to something i can get out in to Moreton bay and on that perfect day out to a close in reef, but it needed to be something that i could load and unload myself with out too much trouble ..
My budget was less 4k, not a lot but the boss said that was enough , so i have been searching for 4 weeks to see what i could find ..
Lots of stuff out there , fiberglass , alloy , 1980's or something newer , what to do ...
Anyway came across a 2006 Stacer Seahorse , 2006 mercury 30hp, 2006 trailer ,all safety gear and a sounder. After a bit of back and forth with the seller we agreed on a price, finally got it for $3800.so now i am almost ready to hit the water , new bimini , rocket launcher and rod holders to be put on and its ready to go ..
so see you on the water .....
