This is going to upset some but if you want a prop (including solas) try boats.net.
Got mine delivered for about AU$370 and 100 of that was postage. Solas here wanted $850. Go figure.

Yep, Deanom's right. My Mercury Enertia was $1,200 here. $495 including freight and insurance ex USA, and that was when we got 75 cents for the dollar. Don't give the rank thievery of the wholesalers here a look in.

Cheers,

Tim

I used hill marine.com They were excellent to deal with, got a 5 blade and it is fantastic. they also do 4 blade. Locals said don't do it, solas don't do it (they don't have a 5 blade)

Another vote for solas, the opportunity to "swap" if the choice isn't ideal is worth the bit extra IMO.

That said, I dinged the new prop 1st day. They also do prop mods and repairs, cost me $150 to have the original restored after I dinged that on a submerged obstacle.

I can't say I would support Solas for support as I have emailed and filled out forms on a number of occasions to NEVER have a return call or email... maybe just not interested if you don't live close. I also agree with the prices from the US how can our local (solas) be half price from the US??
