Age of enduro yamaha

Today I picked up a 14 footer for crabbing and estuary work, it has a 40hp Yamaha.

i have been searching the net to find the engines age with no luck.

Can anyone nail it down for me?...yamaha 40hp enduro, 66TK, E40TXMHL, + there seems to be a simple serial number at least I think that's all it is.
