1770 Fishing Charter Sun 2 Oct 2011

Last Saturday I took the long drive from Brisbane to the town of 1770 with Amokk to go fishing with Mick Black from Fishing Offshore 1770 charters. Worth the drive. It was a bit windy on the Saturday but eased off for most of Sunday (wind picked up a bit in the arvo). Caught some good fish and will defiantly be going back again. Next trip is to Rainbow beach in November. If your heading up to 1770 give Mick Black a call at Fishing Offshore 1770 Charters. We had some first timers on the boat and both Mick and his deckie were kept busy with tangles but nothing was too much trouble and Mick kept putting us on the fish when the bites went quiet. Thats a good feed there. Certainly a nice red esky!!!!! How long were you out there for and what areas did you fish? Good to see a good operator getting you onto some good fish!!!

Yeah was a great day out. One of the best charters I have been on. Here is a pic of our other fish. Basically just fished wide off 1770.

Nice catch there alright good colour that's for sure, just got back myself on Saturday night had a ball.

Great day out and some good eating fish in the esky,think I may do the same,lot less hassel than towing the boat up there.
