Kampo Boats ????????

Anybody know much about these boats, apparently they are manufactured in NSW. I did a quick web search but came up empty. I was surprised how light it is for its size. It has a shallow dead rise and is all fibreglass sandwich foam construction. I’m not interested in buying one just curious.

i went for a ride in a foam sandwich dory in cairns. It was the biggest piece of shxt ever thought up. All the disadvantages of a glass boat (more because it is more fragile), with none of the advantages as the material is so light the ride was woefull - worse than any tinny. great material for bigger boats above the waterline maybe, but in small planing hulls it is crap. the guy building them was experimenting i guess. hope no one bought one.
