The top has distinct Stejcraft lines but the bottom doesn't.
The big rounded, swooping lines where the cab comes down to the gunnel remind me of the Stejcraft.

But Tracker is onto something I reckon with the Vickers.
Very distinctive number of 'clinks' on the hull. 7 is a lot of 'clinks' and a lot of Vicker's have 7.

Thanks ill look around at those, so far the only one i have found with the 7 "chinks"
that the hull looks similar is this

I think it's got that Yalta look about it.

ahh clinks so much fun to sand:wut: i had restored this one that had washed up on to the reef at cairns. it had a hole that you could stick you head into on its side. my advice light sand the clinks and lots of two pack coats

Good luck with the rebuild she looks like a solid boat

wirlybird (http://ausfish.com.au/vforum/member.php?54494-wirlybird) you are not wrong what a mission it was sanding it all down.

i have it done with its first coat of primer and once weather clears up ill
give it a second .

Has been fun i must say but has me stuffed what it is though , i have even contacted maritime and they were of no help.

so far people have said it could be

mustang - vicker - sundance - stebjer so i will keep looking and keep looking at every 1/2
cab pic i can find.

I'd be sending the pics to Cruisecraft. Looks a lot like one of their hulls. Particularly if you look at the topic about "we bought a Reef Ranger".

Impossible I know, but it looks like a Stejcraft top on an Easy Rider hull. I reckon it's definitely a Mexican breed of some sort.

Hello fandtm666
have a look at these;

IMHO you boat is a Sportsmancraft, the model is likely to be a V171.
In the pictures above, the shaping around the outboard well is very similar.
Six clinkers per side, similat planing strakes.
Sportsmancraft were made in Sandgate/Brisbane.
I don't know the status of the company or or the moulds etc.
My Dad had a V173 Conquest runabout which was an older model, it had non-clinker sides with a much fuller forefoot. The clinkers sided Sportsmancraft with the finer bow came along later.

Thanks crocodile for those links , it certainly does look the same especially the one showing the rear
mould for the splash well.same flar on the bow as the one in the last link.

so looks like i could have a hybrid sportsman craft hull and who knows cabin, although i will
be modifying the cab etc so it wont look the same as it does now but is nice to know the hull
make now.

yep really looks like it
