Coffs Harbour?

Hi guy's, taking the family to Coffs for the week tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on where to take the kids for a fish. Will be land based and the kids are aged from 11 years to 6, any help on the matter will be greatly appreciated. CHEERS woody

I'm down in the Coffs area however most of my fishing is off shore, a really good spot for kids would be off the Coffs Jetty located in the harbour, there is also an inlet called Coffs Creek (tidal) worth a try, it runs straight off the beach so you have two options there.
There has been a run of Australian salmon, fun to catch but not much good to eat, jewies at night using grubs for bait.
