Hi all just wanting to know of fishing options out longreach way and beyond going out there for 2 weeks for work and need to fill in some time Thanks Soggy1.

I'm sorry mate but you'll have be content wiuth pulling a few dirty yellow belly out of the Thompson mate. That's pretty much all there is.

If you havnt left yet there are plenty of holes on the Thompson just near town. No boats were allowed south of the weir when I lived there, and plenty of holes north and south as far as you can drive. Youve also got the Darr a bit further towards Winton and the Barcoo south of Ilfracombe at Isxisford.
