What does it cost to Tranport Trailer 3.8m trailer boat from Sydney to Brisbane

Anyone had any recent experience with this ?? I am looking at a possible purchase in sydney and would like to understand the likely cost of such a service.

Also any recommendations on who to use would also be handy.

I just got a quote to send a 5.3 meter boat from Brisbane to Melb $1800.

Ring up various transport companies for an estimate THEN put a thread up on this site for anyone going to and from Sydney to see if they would bring a boat back for you for say $100 or whatever.
If I was going down there I know I would definately do it to off set the price of the fuel.

Try (e-go.com.au), you can do it all online, very cheap if you can get some one to drop it off in the Sydney depot and you pick up from Pinkenba Brisbane.
