Squid off mooloolaba last night

Sitting in close on the gneerings last night I noiced my baits getting smashed by squid I put a potty mullet on old rusty jig and in seconds I had a massive squid followed by 4 more and a now black esky.
They didn't stop but I was there for my snapper feed which I got 2 around 50 to 60 cm happy with this and the tide almost dead I headed in. While I was out there the birds going nuts over some schools just on dark I would love to know what was under there.

Fresh calamari, you can't get any better. What depth were you fishing? I might try and catch some myself
