hey guys since of all this rain i was wondering is freshwater fishing still good when it rains or is it like saltwater where the fish just disappear deeper. Also how is freshwater fishing at the pine ive never fished fresh water before and thought it would be a good spot just drove all the way out to sandgate the other day to buy some evolution jig heads and wanna give them a go, i will be using soft plastics. once again all and any advice/tips is appreciated thanks heaps guys

Youngs crossing and above is fishing ok (well it was before yesterdays rain).
Daughter cleaned up last weekend on a shallow diving halco 52mm scorpion in the brown colour with the spots.
Picked up some nice bass. She also got me twice! Kids and lures is fraught with danger!

The Pine is fishing well again in both salt and fresh reaches. Plenty of decent sized flathead to be found and the old bass are pretty suicidal with the warming weather in the past fortnight.
Both north and south pine rivers are well worth investigating.
