After the deal with mercury going sour over the chinese import vortex things, looks like they've jumped into bed with evinrude for BMT packages.

Some interesting times ahead for existing and new dealers of each.

Now I have even more reason to dislike Quintrex. What a great package they will be, garbage boats with E-bombs on the back.:P:P

Now where is that tub of popcorn.;D;D

Cheers Ron

Yep, heard about that a while ago, might be interesting for the dealers who have spent the last few years bagging etecs and BRP

Less money to the dealer more to the manufacturer, next thing will be buy from the factory.

No way a Quinnie will be able to handle that kind of power. Will bite them in warrenty claims for split hulls for sure....

Didn't they run optimax amongst other things. An opti has every bit as much grunt as an etec. Cheers

What a warped sense of humour you have, thats very disrespectful to e-bomb owners;D;D.

Now that they have the anchor bit sorted with BRP what outboard are they going to use.

Cunninghams fit Mercs to them most of all Opti's on the bigger Models. Just goes to show how competitive things are getting in the Boat market. Will be interesting to See how all this goes.

merc are better off ,dont need to be associated with a poor product ,at least with the e bombs ,it will be birds of a feather.::)
