Hey Guys

Just chasing some information on the transom height of the Haines 635L with the engine well not a pod - is it 25 inch or 30 inch?

Also, what is the maximium horse power you can put on them or the maximum weight of the outboard? Just looking at a 2010 225 Suzuki at the moment that weighs approx 280kg and want to know if it would ok to put on weight wise.

Transom has been redone a few years back, so structurally it's hard, just for insurance purposes don't want to put an engine that is too heavy on it.

Thanks

Pazz

it should be 25" as far as the HP Capacity you may be pushing it. that said outboards are lighter these days so its all relitive here is one with a 225 on it but its got a pod

Mate has one with aftermarket ally pod and a 250 HDDI on it. Haines certainly love the horsepower.

Hey dodgyone - do you have a photo of your mates with the ally pod on it? Just interested to see.

Getting the inside done up a bit, new boat seat eskies, new canopy, new sticker kit and a good polish to give her a birthday.

So nobody has any idea of max weight?

i would have a guess at 2.3 -2.7 tonne depending on fuel tank capacity
