Did anyone else experience it. Went out Sunday morning from Airlie in glass calm and heavy fog and it hung around all day...never seen the like. 0 knots all day and at 4pm on the outer Islands we had visibility of less than 25 meters. Quite amazing conditions and the kind that make you appreciate a GSP plotter. Compass and charts would heve been very hard work. Best patches of vis all day were still no more than 1 k and most of the day was between 200 and 500 meters.
PS : 3 Macks to 28kgs and a whale that played around the boat, stuck his head up for lots of looks and often within touching range for at least 20 minutes. Minnus went mad with the camers.. Very special and never seen it so calm and so foggy all day.
