Casting Deck on Topender 5.1m

I am looking at modifying/raising the front casting deck on my Topender up to level with the bottom of the gunnel. It should make a nice big area to be able to lure fish more easily being up so much higher. Is there anyone out there that has done this or something similar. And if so did they run into any problems.

I'll put some pci's up tonight on how i did mine a few years ago........same as what your talking about...easiest way to do them.

I would be interested to see you photos to Dan. I have thought about doing the same to my 440. I even thought of cutting out the port side pocket and putting in a rod locker as well.
