Just a heads up for anyone thinking of buying stuff in the US ...

USPS (United States Postal Service) are experiencing major delays at the moment and have been for a while. People are waiting at least 4 weeks for stuff to show up and in some cases it's 6-8 weeks, even for "express" items. I can't find out exactly why the delays happen but there has been some talk of strikes at their Australian processing centers. Their tracking also doesn't work so you have no idea where your stuff is.>:(

I would suggest if you possibly can pay a bit more and use Fedex, UPS, DHL etc.

Thanks for heads up. I was starting to worry what is happening to a couple of reels.
Cheers

I purchased a car part from the us last week, the cost here was $1040 and it cost $70 over there lol. I checked the tracking and it has arrived in Sydney and left yesterday so I hope it turns up.

I received one parcel yesterday from the states that was posted USPS on the 6th Aug, yet another bought on the 15th July was shipped the next day and still has not arrived. I got another parcel airfreighted by Fedex from the states that arrived in 5 days late last month.

Seems to be very erratic USPS this year for similar packages.

Bloody typical, thanks for the heads up mate, I have a part I need en route, might buy a second one and get it sent DHL to make sure I get it sooner rather than later.

Cheers
