Yeah weather looks awesome but a Tropicrows said, anything north of Brissie doesnt look as flash. When you look at the chart and see the "h" of the high over the Tweed river, you know theres some good weather.....looks like a goldy snapper session could be on the cards

8 years of working fly in fly out on a 4 and 1 roster out of WA and my R&R always seems to fall on the crappy weather weeks.But not this one.....oh no not this one.This one is going to be different i feel.Fly in Sunday and then its game on!!
This of course is dependent on weather i learn how to catch fish between now and then.

I starting to think that the BOM & Seabreeze get their forecasts from boxes of stale fortune cookies ! ;)

Mooloolaba was nothing near what was predicted !

Yep I was getting hit by 1.2-1.5m swell just getting across to Mud Island also spoke to a few blokes at the ramp when I come in at 11am they were pretty pissed off to.

last friday morning, i took a boat for a test on Moreton Bay. I was wishing the wind was stronger so i could test it out.
I bought the boat on thursday, and took it out Sunday to north of Moreton ie Hutchinson Shoals. The weather was pretty uncomfortable at the time, so stopped at Western rocks for livies, and noted the number of boats returning from further east and north, as the wind got stronger.
It seems I got my wish. Still, it was a great chance for a sea trial, and great to be out on the water.

to true wags, the 40% waiver, so to speak, is often overlooked,but gee it would be nice if they could get closer to the predicted more times than not, even around the 10% area would make it easier to plan on. i guess this is why we should source our wheather forcast from more than 1 place, stick a pin in the middle and hope for the best type predictions.

MT, virgin run through the Pin bar tomorrow with a veteran pin bar user. Guidance has been sought..;)...Just thought we'd try some new areas.
