Just came across this pic of my brother (Stumpy) and his little Southern Blue. My brother is the one holding the fish up by the tail so that it doesn't get dirty.
It is only out of the ice slurry for a few pics. Mind you it really didn't fit in the esky too well. Went 122 Kg's. Not Stumpy, He's only 95 odd. 4 hours of fight in this one there was.

where abouts did he catch it, one of the southern states?

Yeah, down off the bottom of Victoria. I believe they came pretty close in this year. Wouldn't it be nice if they came up this way?

Thats a mighty fine SBT. Am thinking of the sashimi feasts now - mouth watering (and muscles aching in sympathy).
