Got these two snapper a few days ago. One at 7.5kg had a 6mm hole in its head [bit hard to see] and the other at 6.5kg had a bad case of scoliosis...
Landed some nice pearlies as well with all fish caught on sp's[Pink Shine and Pearl White]. Bait never caught a keeper.

Scoota...

He did well to get to the age and size he was.

You know I hate to admit it, but with these modern fish that might just have been a piercing!!!

Lurch perhaps? Good thing it wasn't cousin "it"

Well done Scoota on the plastics.

And Murf, YEP YEP I know exactly how that snapper feels :)

That would have been a weird looking fillet too, old man snap would have been an extra 5 or 6 cm if his back was straight. Plastics success is talkin my lingo, well done Scoota.

Well done and thanks for the report.
What sort of fight did the snapper with the bung back put up?

Cheers Bull

To bad your deckie got sea sick as you went under the bridge you might have got more. Time to put the cue in the rack.
