Took a mate out south of Point Lookout chasing snapper this morning. Left Viccy Point at5.45 and headed across a glassed out bay to the Amity Channel of SPB. Apparently there was a bar there somewhere but we didnt see it:) Headed south and set a drift line up. It was my mates first real go at floatlining. Anyway first drift produces a squire each around the 50cm mark then each drift was similar. Had our bag by 930 along with a nice tusky. Headed a bit wider for a pearlie but no joy. All caught on mullet and Mack tuna with mullet doing a bit better. No big fish but all nice pannies. A good morning.;)
