I presume your pockets are not deep enough for a minn kota rt55 ipilot? Very hard to match them with anything else around but they do come at a substantial price though.

Minn kota or Motorguide are the only electrics I would look at just for solid performance & reliablity. If your budget can stretch I would be going for 24v system with the most power e.g. 80lb. 54lb would the minimum i would get for your boat but if you fish alot current or windy conditions you will undergunned with anything under 80lb IMO..

Hi Greg
You are right in the middle of what is the right choice (54lb - 12Vlt or 74lb 24Vlt)
If you fish waters that are greatly affected by tides or wind ...... then you really should consider a 24Vlt system
if you just want to tick around on a lake or over flats etc - then a 12vlt 54lb will do - but marry it up with as big a deep cycle battery as you can (200amp:thumbsup:) Then you can run it flat out if need be

Having the same boat, the 55lb MK is at the limit off its capabilities, not bad but a big tide or wind and it does struggle...

Problem with the territory is where to put the second battery, its setup for only one battery...

If anyone has put a 24v in a territory I would love to see the setup, I would probably do the same straight up :)

My MK with Ipilot is great, haven't had the others so dont really know but I love the MK.

If the budget allows go the minn kota riptide SP.The ipilot would be good but lots of $$$.I have a riptide SP on my seajay 435 escape and it is well suited.I run a trojan 115 amh battery and fish current all day with no dramas. Also minn kotas (BLA) service for warranty etc is second to none.
