Just a quick update, was out the pin a couple days ago....ended up bagging out on snapps, biggest approaching the 9kg mark and another around the 6. Also bagged a few cobia, lost an absolute monster too. All in all, was a great day with plenty of fish.
Headed out off moreton a few weeks back and ended up with a dozen snapper, all around the 3 kg mark, no monsters but all a really good eating size. Also had a couple kingies and a few pearlies to top off the bag.
Just a word of warning, careful on the pin bar to anyone who is crossing it, at dead low tide there was less then 1 m of water on it and plenty of big waves. In my opinion if you don't know that bar, don't mess around with it because it is lethal.
