Has anyone ever fished for them before?

I'm going to Malaysia and wanted to fish for them while I was there. Probably was going to just take a charter. Anyone done the same thing and have any advice?

they are a mouth brooder, common in Asia. very agressive and protective of their fry.

found by moving around in the boat, typically close to banks, and looking for bubbles which indicates the fry (babies) are up at surface.

cast your lure over the bubbles and bring it back and often will result in a very agressive protective strike. little frog lures are popular.

can be hard to find without local knowledge, so a good guide is important and he will paddle the boat for you when the engine isn't running.............

Should be easy to google.
