lake elphinstone

Hi everyone
We are currently free camping at lake elphinstone west of mackay.
while there are a few redclaw there are no other fish in the lake:(
Can anyone advise me if there are any other options for fishing in the near vicinity
or should I shift to another lake/dam

Ahh used to travel past that lake all the time whilst working up their, pack up yer stuff and head straight to the burdekin falls dam , go straight up past mount coolon pub, if the roads like I remember hold on to your false teeth it'll shake em out of yer head!
