left mooloolaba ramp yesterday around 130pm. Was ordinary conditions with about 15knt southerly.

Anchored on our first mark but could only pull up undersize red emperor about 8 between 20-50cm so decided to move to another mark. By the time we re anchored the wind picked up to 20kts SE bringing some rain making it hard to fish but decided to stick it out.

By 430pm the rain had stopped and the wind dropped a bit so we put out some floaters wich got the bigger fish.

Decided we had enough and back to the ramp by 730pm with 13 snapper biggest going 5.5kg.

Well done bustaonenut. I was going to wet a line but trhe southeaster does make it uncomfortable. Good to see some good snapper about on Murphy's.
