Just wondering if there are any "fisho's" that own Coota Craft "Little Ram" boats. They appear to be rather similar to the old HH "Seawasp", however, built in a much sturdier fashion, with a 24d deadrise in lieu of 21d, (as in the "Wasp").

Would be very interested in a general overview, incorporating such things as powerplant, custom fit-out, fish at anchor or drift/troll, stability at rest, ride quality etc, and most importantly, given the choice all over again, would the same purchase still be made?

They look very 'sweet' compact boats, that could be utilised in a variety of fishing enviroments.

Your candid opinions will be appreciated.

Thanks

Whilst I have not seen one personally, looking through the images on their site, the boat looks nice, but i think it will be deceptively cramped in use. It should ride well for a boat its length, but at less than 4m I believe it will easily suffer in a short chop and be quite wet.
Personally I would be looking at 4.2-4.5m in length for a boat with its intended purpose.
