Hi guys just been looking at a 540 Mcleay looks the goods but just doing research as I am looking at selling my 5 mtr Sportfish and getting something a bit bigger as I want to go fish offshore Moreton etc I am comfortable taking said vessel off Mooloolaba abd the goldy but not sure about spb hence the looking any thoughts would be gratefully taken on board pun included;D

I believe they are good boats mate- from Un Zud too if Im not mistaken but is there much of a step up from a 5m Sportsfish? I wouldnt have thought so for the trouble of selling and buying. Might be worth looking at a 6m+ vessel to make much difference from your current set up.

I took one of their 580 models out i think. If thats one they make, it was somthing in that size bracket. Thought it was one of the better performing alloy boats I've ever been in. Personally i think it would walk all over a 5m sportfish.
