gday guys heading down to yamba for the first time on the weekend, i am hoping to get outside as i have a 4.5m boat, does anyone have some information on some close in reefs that are worth a fish. cheers flynny

Good Luck as the weather report is not good.
Other than that send a pm to Chong, he gets down there a bit and fishes the Iluka side of the river.

Me I only live about 40k's from there but yet to fish outside of there.
The river is supposed to be good especily along the middle wall, you'll see it as it's in the middle/almost/of the river.
The current runs really hard there in both directions.
Currently getting some Jew down there and with this fresh they should be around the mouth of the river.

Again good luck, but I don't think outside will be an option.

thanks guys, yeah saw the weather report, so iam gutted cant win a trick at the moment. anyway i`ll give the river a go and let you know how it went
