a few photos from recent fishing trips. Before anyone has a go at me for keeping marlin . they both died, one had the leader line wraped around its head and it riped the giill plate backwards & we couldnt revive the orther one, tried for1hr.

I am totally for tag and release of marlin. But the reality is you WILL get fish that come up tail wrapped or totally spent that can't be revived. As long as they don't go to waste, no fisho should have a problem with that.

Nice haul of fish

Cheers

Some ripper fish there. The pearlie is a stonker.

Awesome catch well done, do you get to the hards from noosa or from moolooba, which is closer.

noosa is closer but i go from mooloolabah so i can head out and come in whenever i like. bigger boats are restricted at the noosa bar as you have to cross it near high tide.
