Went out to the 100mtr line off the hards thurs week ago to have a crack at a few. The snapper hit on sun up, we only landed 4 of them but got busted off 6 times by some big ones. Fishing was slow after that. We spent the next few hours drifting around picking up a few pearlys and tuskies. We were just about to go home when 2 dolphine fish turned up, we got them into a feeding frenzie then i baited up and hung it right beside the boat, one of the dolpine fish smashed it straight away. had fun pulling it in on my 10kg snapper rod. the orther dolphine fish stayed with it until we got it aboard. 5min later the orther one came up to the boat again , got him feeding again and my mate loaded up a bait and again got smashed right beside the boat. He also used his 10kg snapper rod and had fun getting it in. What a way to finish the day. Te bigest snapper was 7.5kg and the dolphine fish were 18 & 20kg.

I will soon venture out to the hards. I have only herd good reports. The old man snapper had a nasty head on him, looks great. How long does it take to get out on a good day? Well done...Cheers
