Brett and myself went out 36 east of seaway last weekend and got a bag of 50mm plus tragy and a nice pearly and parrot. Was a bit rough with the slop on top of the swells but all good.
Went out last night Brett and Adam in one boat and my br in law with me in mine. What a glorious run out and fishing. Bugger all current and 5 knts of wind. was a great sight watching the moon rise.
20 trag between us, pearly 550mm squapper and a nice tuna.
Home at 1am.

Did you go off the Gold Coast again? I went out on Thursday and the current was bad, we went out to the 50's we had no wind but the boat was doing 2.6 knots, came back into the 36's and the same, back to the 24's the same ended up fishing with the motor in and out of reverse.

a few weeks ago we went out to the same spot and could not fish it because the current was so hard.
Things last night were nearly to perfect.
