Just a thought,

yeah, something I'd like to see as well is one of those fishing shirts, you know like the flash UPF50+ tournament style shirts like on www.bigfishgraphics.com.au (http://www.bigfishgraphics.com.au)

I'd get one of those for sure

Just a suggestion

Thanks for the suggestions. Looked at the Brag mats before and couldn't find one that didn't stretch or shrink, but will look at them again.

Shirt idea is great, $90 plus postage for a shirt might be a bit steep but am getting someone to try and come up with a design and will spend some time on the suggestion and see where it goes.

yeah there's a few others around, but i recently bought a humminbird one from the local tackle shop made by those guys. Really good quality stuff. For a shirt of the same material though, from any manufacturer they will be around 70-80 each.

They are really nice shirts, especially for up here, good sun protection, but still very light and cool. Dry very quickly and also stops the midgies biting.

There's other getting around like the columbia shirts, but I don't like button down shirts, they get caught up in your line or cast nets etc.

Anyway, just something to think about if you want to go that way

Steve,
Just on the tee shirts.. Ive notices all the other shirts that are available are dark blue with white writing/logos.
Im just thinking that in summer when we need to cover up they might be a bit hot.
What about a white shirt with a AUSFISH.COM.AU up either sleave, a big AUSFISH EMBLEM on the back and some of the Flames off the caps splashed across the front and back , all in dark blue.

yes sam your right....and i do remember what white tee's look like after ive been fishing, crabing, prwaning.......good point.

Gaz, yes i would have a maroon one to but i was just trying to stay with the colours of the site.

The more colours you add on the more it cost so what say light blue and bark blue printing.

What is needed is a good quality cap with a plastic filler in the brim that will survive a run in the washing machine.

I had a shimano cap ( I wore continuously) that had been washed several times, but it is now being worn by a crab 1km off wello in 6 meters of water.

All the caps i have seen recently have cardboard fillers in the brim, and they wont cop a swim or a ride in the washing machine.... even the $30-40-50 caps.

With a dark brim and a pale crown, too so they keep the glare out don't bake ya brains.

Plain cotton with the toothy ausfish screened would be fine.

Cheers

Scott NtQLD is onto something there! Those shirts are awesome, with the buying power of Ausfish the company surley would give a good price, maybe an agreement advertising space for cheap shirts??? Or you could get an order in and wait till you have 50 or so then order in bulk???

Awesome shirts,

Josh

I am going to put an order in now... I got some stickers sent out last year and misplaced them only to find them a couple of weeks back but now have a new boat so dont want red stickers.
