Was up there over the weekend of the 15th, fished slick rigs, hollow bellies and hard bodies in wind blown bays of south arm. Mostly targeting shallow weed edges and the sparse timber amongst these weed beds.

Not one touch from Barra but landed a couple of catties on the hard bodies.

Could see Barra on the sounder sitting at about 20ft just off the shallower tapered edges, but couldnt tempt them with any retrieve or lure. Water temp was mostly in the 25-26 degree mark.

Did hear of 1 landed on Friday and one on Saturday, Jamie one of the local guides landed one and dropped one on Sunday.

Its worth a look land based just below the wall, its only a short walk from the camp ground Jackall transams and smaller than usual plastics have been doing the job below the wall apparently......Could see a smallish Barra sitting behind a stump in knee deep fast flowing water only a few feet from the edge, ran a B52 and a slick rig past it and around it from every different angle, not even interested one bit........

Hope this helps
